NEW TRACTOR, DAISY AND BEAU

(December 29th, 2023) Santa took care of Sean with a new Kubota tractor with back hoe! Daisy has a new friend, Beau who belongs to Gary and Vicki next door. Every time I take her for a walk she runs to the fence to look for him. Also Kathy and I stayed a night at Mom's house and the following day met Candy and Jimmy at the half way point to give them our old phones. Click on photo for more pictures!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

new

(December 26th, 2023) Whew, it's over! Now we can relax the rest of the year and lick our wounds. After all the Christmas parties, shopping, wrapping and cleaning up before and after, we all deserve that rest. Otherwise it was great seeing all the Grandkids, Nephews, Nieces, family and friends. RYLIE DANCE, RENO, HUTSONS, UNCLE KEN AND BILL MIDDENDORF, GOOFING AROUND

(December 18th, 2023) The last couple of weeks have been great as Ann was released from all the restrictions put on her because of her stroke and Kathy has healed up nicely so they both can hit the malls to Christmas shop. Have never been to a dance recital before nor wanted to, but we were pleasntly surprised after attending and seeing Granddaughter Rylie in it. Kathy and I went to Reno for a couple of days so she could get a cortisone shot in her knee and other chores we needed to do. Scot, Ann, Jeff, Kathy and I met Jeff and Tracy over at the Valice home to check out construction before we all went back to the Hutson house for beers, tours and food. Also have a copy of the Providence Journal article on J. William Middendorf with Uncle Ken Dooley included. Click on photo for more pictures!

1705 G STREET

new

(December 2nd, 2023) Went to lunch with Mom and Aunt Jan and on the way back to their homes drove by these apartments that were so much a part of our lives years ago. Aunt Jan and Uncle Don started out managing them in 1960 and then eventually owning them. Mom, Dad, Tiva and I visited them in 1961, flying down from Alaska. In 1964 after the Alaska earthquake Mom, Tiva and I lived here for a few months while things returned to normal up North. Sina and her Mom lived here pretty much the whole time too!
